About Sedona

This beautiful town sits at an elevation of 4500 feet in northern Arizona between Phoenix and Flagstaff.  The climate is very pleasant, without the heat of Phoenix, nor the cold of Flagstaff.  It is known not only for its magnificent red rock formations but its four major vortexes: Airport Mesa, Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock and Boynton Canyon.  If you have never visited here you have probably seen it in pictures because it is used in advertisements, calendars and movies. 

There have been over eighty feature films produced here in Sedona.  There was a time when westerns ruled the movie scene, and such films as Broken Arrow, Gun Fury, Half Breed and many more were filmed here. 

Sedona is a town of 16,000 residents, with approximately four million visitors a year. It is also close to a number of Indian ruins and the Grand Canyon. Not only is it beautiful but very serene as well. A great number of people come to experience the energy vortexes and discover this natural beauty.  Sedona is full of artists and art galleries.

Many people coming to Sedona have a spiritual point of view.  People who have made a commitment to grow and become as much as they can spiritually. Also, Sedona has long been known as a spiritual power center, as some people come and cannot explain why, they just "feel" the pull and upon arriving say " I feel as if I am returning home".   If you are the least bit sensitive to subtle energies, it can be felt and can be a very uplifting experience.
